The Coeliac Society of Ireland was formed in Dublin in 1970 with its aim to promote, safeguard and protect the interests of the members in relation to the Coeliac condition. It is a self-help charity set up to promote the interests of Coeliacs in Ireland. It consists mainly of volunteers who are a valuable asset to the society.

If you have a query about a local restaurant or where you can source gluten free products in your area please contact our local branches for information. As a member you will be kept up to date on upcoming events run by each functioning branch. If you would like to get involved dont forget we are always looking for people to help. Perhaps you can lend a supportive ear to someone who has just been diagnosed or help organise an event. You may wish to start a support group in your local area. You may have your own are of expertise which you feel might help the society as a whole. We would love to hear from you if you would like to continue the spirit of Volunteering which has brought the society to where it is today.
