We are an Alcoholics Anonymous group of men and women who meet regularly to help others recover from an illness called alcoholism. The name "Saoirse" is Irish for freedom and that's exactly what we have gotten, freedom from alcohol to live full and useful lives and that's something most of us could only have dreamed of. We want to make sure that anyone else suffering from alcoholism gets the same opportunity we have been given.

We meet every Wednesday night at 8.30pm. The A.A. meeting finishes at 9.45pm. We are a Big Book Study Meeting. The Big Book is our basic text or in other words a set of written directions which when followed and practiced on a continual basis result in freedom from alcohol and a contented life. We read and discuss the Big Book and relate our experiences to it. Newcomers are very welcome to attend.
