I think that every person who has travelled from Mexico or the USA in the last two weeks and at the present moment should be checked by doctors as soon as they arrive in Ireland, who is to say that the people who traveled with the man who is thought to have the virus are not infected even if it takes days for the flu to fully develop, these people should be contacted as soon as possible for their own sake and the rest of country.

I think Cuba and Argentina have done very well cancelling all flights from and to Mexico, USA and even Spain. I am just a mother concerned for my child's health and those of my family and friends.

If everybody adheres to personal hygene and consideration for the people round them, like using a clean tissue when coughing / snezing and discarding afterwards and then washing their hands there should be no reason for alarm, as the virus is spread by droplet infection from human to human - what is bothering me is the idea of having to shake hands with the person next to me in mass and such like, dont know how clean their hands is or if they have sneezed in last hour or so, as that is how long the virus can live outside the body.  so we should all be careful and the Clergy should stop the practice of shaking hands in mass, at least until the scare is past. - Bye
